Background Information: CAN Solidarity Beloved Community Initiative (SBCI) Proposed Group Intentions:
VISION
Community-centered, compassion-based, wise collective leadership and action — focused on the centrality of “Beloved Community” for creating social, economic, environmental, and spiritual wellbeing.

GOALS
To manifest “Beloved Community” by cultivating efficient and effective relationships through shared purpose (highest aspiration), natural selection (fit-to-environment), self-organization (generative patterns), and affinity of Consciousness (awareness | volition | learning | practice | depth) — focused on creating social, economic, environmental, and spiritual wellbeing.

OPERATIONAL PROCESS
"Starting from within, working in a circle in a sacred manner, we develop and heal ourselves, our relationships and the world."

PERSONAL PRACTICE
To commit ourselves to the practice of Hearing, Seeing, and unconditionally Loving (H-S-L) ourselves, each other, and our ecosystems in – every encounter and every relationship. In being individually and collectively accountable for H-S-L? and the promises and commitments we make – We ask: Is this action helpful (manifests well-being), compassionate (manifests unconditional love) and transparent (manifests trust), or is it simply an inappropriate exercise of power and/or unexamined assumptions?”

THE PROJECT
Our Nation’s survival depends on our commitment and ability to individually and collectively implement values, lifestyles, practices, processes, policies, and technology that transform how we think and live from a — “Consumer” paradigm, to an economic and ecological “Net Provider” of water, food, energy, infrastructure, wellness, information, and compassionate human relationships. Being a “Net Provider” is about implementing a whole-person, whole-system approach to lifestyle changes and sustainable practices.

The purpose of the Net Provider “Project” is to architect and collaboratively implement sustainable and scalable “Net Provider” demonstration projects. These projects are intended to transform individual and collective “Consciousness”, values, lifestyles, practices, processes, policies, and technology. The goal is to move from a “Consumer” paradigm to an economic “Net Provider” of water, food, energy, infrastructure, wellness, information, human services, and compassionate human relationships.

The Goal of the Net Provider “Project” is to implement sustainable “Net-Provider” practices and systems: that are ecologically-sound and economically viable; which provide for their own needs; do not exploit or pollute; develop the capacity and experience for humans to hear, see, and love themselves, each other, and the Earth; and are therefore sustainable and generative in the long term. The strategy is to work from personal (residence, workspace) to collective (commons, neighborhood, workplace, . . .) to implement “Net-Provider” practices and technology around water (i.e., surface water reclamation), food (i.e., gardens and CSA), energy (i.e., renewable and energy reclamation), infrastructure (whole-lifecycle optimization of — technology design | reuse | recycle; life-long education; leadership; facilities; transportation; integrated logistics, local distribution, . . .), wellness (health resource optimization), information (data, knowledge, wisdom), human services (basic needs), and compassionate human relationships.

ACTION INQUIRIES
1. What becomes possible, or can be done more efficiently and effectively together — than can be accomplished separately?
2. What are the demonstration projects — important issues and solutions — where there is readiness and benefit from the collective support of our organizations and communities?

SUCCESS CRITERIA
To perform compassionate action — not just have compassionate feelings or engage in compassionate talk — where success can be measured by the effectiveness of lives positively changed, communities sustainably transformed, reconciliation accomplished, peace manifested, and justice realized.

In being individually and collectively accountable for "H-S-L" and the promises and commitments we make – We ask: Is this action helpful (manifests well-being), compassionate (manifests unconditional love) and transparent (manifests trust), or is it simply an inappropriate exercise of power and/or unexamined assumptions?”

Organizing Group —Integral Wellness Team (IWT):
Mark R. Jones (Sunyata Group)
Candi S. Foon (Sunyata Group)
Kim Adams (Heart of the Matter)
Elizabeth Fowler, MD LLC

Access: By Invitation Only

Purpose Statement:
As we watch the US grapple with healthcare reform, there are many of us who realize the current proposed changes do not even come close to what is really needed. We know so much more than the system is willing to admit, endorse or even consider. Many of us feel it is time to design a healthcare system that has much greater capacity for healthcare delivery.

Invitees are those already participating in some way in leading edge healthcare practices, and/or design. Many of us who live on this leading edge have been quietly designing our own personal health generation programs. We have been figuring out how to mesh ancient knowledge with modern technology, and actively working with our own health and wellbeing on multiple dimensions simultaneously. What if we, collectively are actually "being" the future of healthcare delivery in how we look after ourselves, our families, our communities, and our planet?

The four of us (Mark Jones, Candi Foon, Elizabeth Fowler and Kim Adams) have been collaborating for over a year in envisioning a healthcare delivery system that would help the human community survive and thrive past our current global crises.

We feel that a functional and insightful system is essential not only in supporting health creation, but also in generating the kind of mindset that will support humans in living a more generative co-existence on this planet. A system that generates health must by definition generate health for all life, on the whole spectrum from the life of the soul to the life of the soil.

We believe that the centrality of business models and treatment modalities must address healthcare across a "Whole-Life Cycle", versus "Episodic" care engagement — a whole-person whole-system approach that focuses on prevention rather than intervention. We also feel health and wellness strategies need to be based on individual (personal) and collective (community) awareness and responsibility. We believe that an emphasis on personal health creation in the context of community support will decrease recidivism, and decrease the rate of growth in healthcare costs.

The purpose of the conversation is to share our individual and mutual designs of health systems we may have invisibly built for ourselves (and others) over our years of personal growth, investigation, experimentation and manifestation. Our intention is to convene a broad cross-section of representatives of the “whole system” of healthcare and wellness to explore and bring out into public discussion all that we have learned and created in our lives on the subject of health generation.

We intend to explore what we already know, and how close we may be to being able to manifest a viable and sustainable system our planet is calling forth. We think we collectively already know and practice this system in our own lives. It's time to elucidate it and make it public knowledge.

Meeting Process Agenda:

Calling Question:
1. What becomes possible, or can be done more efficiently and effectively together — than can be accomplished separately?
2. What are the healthcare practices, system designs, projects — important issues and solutions — where there is readiness for and would benefit from our collective support?

What: Dinner with Elizabeth and Kim role-playing into being a version of a new system. Desert and collective design creation to follow.
